Hi,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring. Also, thank you for providing detailed clinical information, that helps.
I agree with you that fibromyalgia commonly affects both sides of body, however, in a small percentage of cases, it affects mainly one side. After a few years (without treatment), it can affect the other side too. So, it could be fibromyalgia in your case.
However, since the symptoms are mainly on one side, I would like to make sure there is no structural lesion in brain (thalamus, parietal lobe, etc). So, an MRI of brain should be done (if not already done).
Vitamin deficiencies aggravate neurological problems, so, they should be corrected.
Regarding sleepiness, it is part of fibromyalgia. Most people have lack of sleep, however, some have excessive sleep. Also, certain medications used for treating fibromyalgia such as pregabalin, duloxetine, etc may also cause more sleep.
I hope it helps. Please get back if you have any more queries.
Best wishes,

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your reply. Will request if you can recommend some pathology center in Pune where I should get MRI scan for brain. And also is there any side effect of getting MRI of brain ?

Hi,
Thank you for getting back.
MRI can be done in any good hospital or Diagnostic centre. The MRI machine should be 1.5 Tesla or 3.0 Tesla. Good hospitals in Pune are Ruby Hall, Jehangir Hospital, Sahyadri Hospital, etc.
MRI has no side effects.
Regards.
