I have had a pain in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen just under my ribs for about 4 years old patientnow. I saw a doctor who had an ultrasound and blood work performed but nothing was found. I saw another doctor who said they thought it was muscular and it should go away but it never did. It has been bothering me for the past few days but I cannot get an appointment with my primary care doctor until December. Is this something that would be concerning enough that I should go to urgent care or an emergency room or should I just wait to get an appoint with my PCP?

History of this issue: 

This started about 4 years old patientago after a period of constipation. I had a bunch of life changes and I think the constipation was caused by stress. The constipation cleared up but around that same time I developed the uncomfortable or sometimes slightly painful feeling below my right rib. There is no other symptoms along with the pain. No vomiting, no diarrhea. It appears to start without warning and sometimes lasts for a few hours sometimes for a few days. Then it might go away for a week or more or sometimes just come back a day or two later. I have tried to correlate the pain with food that I am eating but I cannot seem to find anything conclusive that could be causing it in my diet.
