Pain in hip on bending after horse flip over. Treatment.

Resolved question:
I had a horse flip over backward ontop of me a couple days ok by some luck my upper body was in a position that it was not crushed however I was pinned under her for a second still in the saddle she came over completely upside down and my hip and legs where landed on. I did land hard enough band my head. although it was slightly pain ful not as one might imagine. My left leg was sore more on the muscle but after a few seconds I was about to get up and hobble back to the barn.. I do have a very high pain tolerance and sometimes I am more hurt then I can feel. My concern is for the first 20 minutes the inter thigh muscle didn't feel quite right like it wasn't in the correct place it was pulling all wrong but not really painful as a I walked it worked out. But here is the thing standing walking is not bad sitting there is alight pain when bending but it is a funny pain, on a scale of one to 10 10 being extreme I would say at worse it is a 4 maybe 5.. the thing is I can only physically lift my leg 30% up and no matter how I try I can do more, it doesn't really hurt just won't go I have to pull it up into position with my hand it isn't really painful, the left is worse the the right... this is what my main concern it but not sure what is causing it, nerve damage or the rest of my symptoms are a very bruised tail bone(I did break it years ago) back stiffness but nothing concerning, my neck is stiff and sore on both sides probably whiplash, slightly sore arm on the left.. I am 100% positive there is a small fracture on the inside arch of my foot it is purple and swollen and looks like what it looked like when I broke the top of that foot, but it doesn't hurt ..and don't think it has much to do with the leg problem ...just curious what might be going on should I be feeling more pain maybe the damage is from higher up or maybe just a bunch of crushed nerves wondering will this go away how long should I give it . I am still rding I just have to place my leg up into the stirrup but then can pull myself up this is just very odd

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
You indeed seem to have very high pain tolerance since anybody else in your place would have rushed to the ER.
As per yur arch of the foot, it is better to get an X-RAY done and based on that proceed further with the management as per the guidelines of an Orthopaedician.
Regarding your thigh muscles, it could be due to a severe muscle pull. The injury was extremely bad, and sometimes such injuries can take up to months to heal. You have a lot of restriction of movement, and a ligament pull is quite evident here.
You can start muscle relaxants such as Myospas Forte twice a day along with local anti inflammatory spray directly on to the thigh.
But the best thing to do here will be to get yourself physically examined by an Orthopaedician and if he feels necessary, he can ask you to get X-RAYS. There are various physical tests to test the range of your motion, and based on that a fracture can be ruled out.
My honest advise to you, inspite of your pain tolerance is to get yourself physically examined. Because if you neglect these kind of injuries, they tend to stay for a really long time, and will bother you for the rest of your life. Meanwhile before you go see a doctor, start yourself on the muscle relaxant as i mentioned.
Regards.
