Hi doctor so I'm getting anxious . My appointment is right around the corner. I am having this sharp pain in my head whenever I tap the bridge of my nose it only happens when I do this it doesn't go away with 800mg motrion .. So when I tap my nose pretty hard it hurts on the right side of my head in one spot . When I press on that spot it hurts also with a sharp pain that feels like the inside of my head. I had a ct scan less than a month ago would the brain tumor have picked up a tumor causing this ? Sorry to bother you thanks ! I'm still getting vertigo /dizziness every now and than . Just to clarify I only get this sharp pain when pressing on the spot that occurs or when I hit the bridge of my nose . I'm wondering if this is due to a brain tumor would it of been seen on the ct scan that I had less than a month ago

I have noted your symptoms. I would like to reassure you that these symptoms are not suggestive of brain tumor. A CT scan would pick up most of the brain tumors, which are 5 mm in size of larger. So, there is no need to worry.

Hi doctor, so I just got my mri test results they said no findings to do with my symptoms . They did mention that I had a clean mri besides an incendtaloma which I asked my doctor does that mean I have a mass he said no.. Can you verify ? I also have ready that on my sheet they gave me for my review on it says after the Mri it's a Arnold Chiari Type 1. Does that mean it's a tumor ? They referred me to a neurologist what is an incendentaloma ? If my mri was normal but with a incident finding that was an incidentaloma in my cerebellum what does that mean how can I have a normal mri with a finding ? Is it a tumor?!! They said no mass ... But if there wasn't a mass how could they tell? What is a Arnold Chiari am I at risk of dying sooner than a normal life span ? I'm confused as how I can have a clean MRI but yet they said there was an incendentaloma yet my primary care doctor says that it is not a mass . What does that mean? They said no tumor but yet an incendtaloma means tumor correct ? Once again they said no mass or brain tumor .. I'm really confused by this all
Incidentelomas are small benign tumors or swellings, which can't be explained, and is a completely incidental finding.
I will need to review your complete MRI, before I can give my opinion.
I am sure the neurologist reviewed it, and found no cause for alarm. So please do not worry.
Similarly Arnold Chiari is a vasculature malformation, and is not a cancer.

From what my m.d told me is that they found no mass, so does this mean that the incedentaloma they could be referring to is just swelling or is could it actually be a benign tumor.. Because they said they didn't find a mass.. Or could they be referring to the Chiari as an incedentaloma? Could this also just be how much brain is and nothing serious? Like a vascular problem not a mass? This is what my medical record on my latest report said "Arnold Chiari Type 1 - Likely , an incedental finding, pt with significant concern. " so would that be considered an incedentaloma ? I will have a copy of the MRI on Tuesday and will send it to you then. Thank you so much by the way
I will have to wait for the MRI report to give you an opinion on the Incidenteloma.
It coild be from a past infection, and in most cases is nothing to be worried about.
Arnold Chiari is a vascular malformation, and is not the incidentaloma.
Incidentelomas are not considered to be masses, because they are benign.
Let me review the MRI, and I can give you my opinion.
