Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have read your query with diligence.
By going through x ray film which you have sent ,it looks that your mother is suffering from Spondylolisthesis of L5-S1 vertebrae. It looks that this is of grade 1.The grade 1 lesion do not require surgery they are generally treated by conservative means .You should do following-
-She should avoid forward bending movements.
-She should wear a lumbosacral corset. This will support her spine & may prevent further progression.
-She may take a mild analgesic like advil or aleeve for relief.
-If there is radiation of pain in lower limb & severe pain or weakness in limbs then you should consult to your doctor.
Hope this all will help you.
Regards.

Hello,
I apologise for such a late followup, but I just wanted you to go through a more recent X-ray Report of my mother which she got yesterday and advice if you find anything notable. At the the same time kindly suggest if there is anything further that could be done to relieve pain while standing.
Regards,

Hello,
Welcome again.
I have seen your x rays. There is lishesis between lumber 5 and sacral 1 vertebrae , it looks to be progressing towards second grade.
As I have advised you previously, you should give her a limbo sacral belt . This should be weared at lower back. For pain relief you may give her a combination of tramadol with paracetamol . You should have x rays at every 3-6 months to check for forward progression of slip. Avoid forward bending at back.
Hope his will help you.
Regards.
