Resolved question:
After a recent break-up, I visited an erotic massage parlor. Since then, guilt, coupled with my OCD, has convinced me that I contracted an STD from the visit. I don't have a history of having sexual intercourse of any type with prostitutions, and I was even checked via blood several months ago on a routine visit to the doctor. I simply need to consult a doctor now to relieve the obsession and continue with my life. (I should probably be seeking a therapist!)
Anyway, during the visit, the masseuse offered for me to masturbate myself. That is absolutely all that happened, however, at one point the palm of my hand bumped into the tip of the massage oil nozzle. This is where the OCD comes in. I'm convincing myself I contracted Hep c, Hiv, etc. from the contact.
From this visit, do you see any reason I should get checked for STDs or am I being paranoid? Once again, I have a history of OCD, more specifically, hypochondria, germaphobia, etc.
Thank you very much.
Alex

Hello Alex,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concerns and anxiety.
You have absolutely NO risk of contracting any STD or infections such as hepatitis from the exposure you had.
I don't want to explain how each disease is transmitted, because that can confuse you.
But I want to reassure you that there is NO risk at all.
Regarding your OCD, if it is bothering you up to this level, you should consult a local psychiatrist. He can put you on some medicines like diazepam or alprazolam to relieve your anxiety-related thoughts.
Please feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
Thank you, doctor.
I've actually come a loooong way with my OCD related thoughts. This was a definitely a "toe stub" so I wanted to take care of it immediately. Have a good day!

Hello,
It depends entire on your partner.
If she has open lesions in her oral cavity, then she is most likely to have herpes, which can be transmitted via oral sex.
Other STDs are not common from just oral sex. Herpes is the main concern. If you wear a condom, the chances of getting herpes from oral sex will be minimized.
Regards.
Doctor,
I have one final question pertaining to STD's. What am I at risk while receiving oral sex? Say I meet a girl online and we go on a few dates. Is it safe to receive oral sex at this point or is it necessary to get tested first? Thank you.
