Patient replied :
1. I am 29 male.
2. No
3. No
4. No
5. from 2 months
6. Without drugs 145/100. with drugs 130/90.
Also, my blood urea level was high before i took treatment. Now its normal.
Thank you for the additional information. Well that clears it. Aldomet and Nicardia are NOT usually the first choice anti hypertensive medications. They are used in special circumstances - and in your case elevated Blood urea .
Elevated blood urea denotes a possible renal damage. Other medications can have a negative impact on the kidney. So any change in medication is only possible after a complete renal evalaution.
You will require at repeat Blood Urea, Serum Creatinine, Ultrasound Kidney , Urine 24 hour protein and Urine Microscopy.
Your previous diagnosis for the Elevated blood urea is also needed.
Please get in touch with your Doctor for the tests. You can get back to us with the results. Also I strongly advice against other medication as it can cause the risk of renal failure.
If you can provide any additional details I can suggest recommended BP medications
Hope this helps
