Hello,
You have been having repeated ring worm infection which happens to people who sweat a lot.
You need to change your underwear frequently, and mostly wear loose fitting underwear to prevent excessive sweating.
Yes, clotrimazole ointment is the standard treatment for 2 weeks, I will keep this consult open, let me know in 2 weeks time, if it is helpful.
Regards.
ok ., thank you. i am going to clotrimazole ointment treatment for 2 weeks.
and i will inform you after 2 weeks what result i iil get.and i hve querry., do i get natural skin from this treatment?
thanl you.
In your case only using creams would not help. You need to use both oral and topical antifungal creams.
In my clinical practice, I prefer giving adult patients a course of oral antifungal like terbinafine 250 mg daily along with topical antifungal like luliconazole or sertaconazole or clotrimazole cream twice in a day. One should dust the area with antifungal dusting powder frequently to keep it sweat free. Wear loose cotton clothes, dry the area completely and change underclothed twice. Avoid wearing denims and synthetic clothes.
Whenever lesions will heal slight pigmentation will remain that usually resolves with time. If pigmentation persists one may use hydroquinone 2 percent cream twice daily over pigmented area to reduce pigmentation.
Hope this helped.
Take care
