Resolved question:
I am looking for a comparison between two chest xrays I've had one year apart. I have attached four images - one frontal from 2014, one frontal from 2015, one lateral from 2014 and one lateral from 2015.

Hello,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I apologize for the delay.
I went through the X-rays in detail.
On comparison of the two frontal & two lateral chest x-Rays dated 2014 & 2015 in a known case of coarctation of aorta repaired twice with bicuspid aortic valve & raised right dome of diaphragm
It was found that
There is a radiological reduction in the peri-bronchial cuffing noted in both hilar regions, suggestive of reduction in the bilateral hilar peri bronchitis.
The right dome of diaphragm is raised & radiologically unchanged
Rest of the visualised bilateral lung fields cardiac & aortic shadows are unremarkable
There is no significant change between the two.
Also, there are no significant complications presently.
Feel free to discuss if you have any questions
Regards
So was the reduction in the peri-bronchial cuffing noted on all X-rays? What could cause that?
Hello,
the reduction was seen in recent X-ray which suggest reduced bronchitis and inflammation.
Hope it clears the confusion
Thank you for the reply. Out of curiosity, are the liver and spleen visible on a chest xray?
Yes, they could be. Spleen can only be visible if it is enlarged.
Regards.
