Liposuction side effects

Resolved question:
My friend who was really fat is now unbelievably slim. When i asked her how she did it she said she had liposuction. So I am planning on having liposuction done to reduce my tummy. Is it safe and what are the side effects?

Liposuction is a surgical procedure used to reduce fat. It is mostly done for cosmetic purposes rather than medical. The most common side effects that arise from liposuction are:
• Swelling
• Scars
• Bruising
• Pain
• Numbness
• Post operative weight gain
• Temporarily Limited mobility
There are also possibilities of some rare complications like:
• Allergic reactions to the medications or materials used during surgery
• Infection from the incision
• Damage to the skin
• Skin necrosis
• Internal organ damage
• Skin Irregularities like bumps and saggy skin.
