Hello,
Thank you for posting your medical query to DoctorSpring.com
Burning sensation when you urinate is most commonly a sign of a urinary tract infection though the only way to determine it with certainity would be to have a urine sample sent for urinalysis and for culture. Once you receive a report, kindly upload it and we can determine appropriate management (antibiotic and urinary analgesic) should this be from a UTI.
Additionally, kindly provide the following details:
your age and gender.
do you experience any of the following? A fever (measured by a thermometer), pain in front of the back portion of your abdomen, nausea, vomitting , foul smelling or bloody urine or genital discharge? A history of kindey stone?
do you have any pre-exisitng medical conditions I should be aware of? Are you currently on any medications?
In the meanwhile, drink plenty of fluids (water or cranberry juice)
I look forward to your reply,
