Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
I have reviewed all your reports and they are all normal apart from slightly elevated sedimentation rate and ESR. They are highly non-specific and can be elevated in mild infections or allergies.
Did you have any other symptoms apart from the stiff joint and body pains?
Such symptoms are common in a post viral infection, in the recovery phase. Sometimes the viral infection can be very mild and the only appreciable symptoms are that of fatigue and myalgia. It decreases over time. Are the pains getting worse? Any aggravating/ relieving factors?
Please feel free to discuss further,

Thank you for your response. To answer your question, my only symptoms are the aches, fatigue and no appetite. I do have some chronic issues: allergies, anxiety and migraines, (no medication takien for anything, only an epi pen should it be needed) but this is nothing new. In regards to aggrevating/releving factors-the pains feel worse when trying to sleep at night or when outdoors (its been very cold here), not much to releive them.
Thank you!
An elevated sedimentation rate and ESR can be commonly found in patients prone to allergies.
The symptoms you mentioned seems to be due to a post viral recovery.
Classically in a post viral recovery, patient present with lack of appetite, chronic fatigue, myalgia, headache, e.t.c
The other reports are normal, hence, other causes can be ruled out.
In such cases, we give only symptomatic treatment. So you can take Ibuprofen 400 mg, twice daily based on the severity of the pain.
Recovery is spontaneous and should not take more than 1-2 weeks.
Please feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
