PCOS is a condition where multiple cysts are formed on the ovary. Due to hormonal imbalance there are multiple cysts formed which prevent the release of ovarian follicles for fertilization. Therefore, it prevents from getting you pregnant. I suggest you follow the following,
- You need to take oral contraceptive pills for a year or two; this will help balancing your hormones.
- You need to be sure to take them regularly, missing pills wouldn't help you.
- Next a USG will have to be taken, if there are cysts that are too large, lithotripsy has to be done to cauterize the cyst.
- Regular USG to monitor the size of the growing follicle is done, so this way the growing follicle is monitored and you will when it's ready for fertilization.
- I also suggest you work on your weight by hitting the gym or yoga.
