Huge and severe itching near penis area

From the history you provided, you are getting intertrigo.

Intertrigo is a bacterial and yeast infection of the skin. The treatment for it would be application of miconazole and fucidin cream on it twice a day.

Also you can take tablet levocetrizine 5 mg once daily at night.

However, you would need a prescription for it from your doctor.

The creams will treat the intertrigo. The tablet would be to control the itching that you are getting.

Its continiously occuring.That is previous month also it came.

I was also using candid b cream at that time.Is the over usage of that cream has caused any harm?

I am using Dettol Soap for bathing.Should i change it?

In order to stop it coming in the future, what all are the precuation that i should follow.

Intertrigo is caused due to bacterial and yeast infection.

Candid B cream contains a steroid component betamethasone which actually increases the growth of bacteria and yeast.

Hence I recommend that you stop that cream completely.

Also bathing twice a day, not repeating the same clothes again, wearing loose cotton clothes, use of antifungal dusting powder after bath will reduce recurrences.

You won't require any other tests.

Thank you for replying.I took the tablet you suggested yesterday.Its nice.Now i am having some relief with the itching sensation.

But i am having doubt with the cream you suggested.

In your primary reply you have suggested to use miconazole and fucidin cream.

Is there any probelm if i am applying both the creams one at a time?

If needed to apply separately, before applying the second cream i have to wash the area right?

Can i use dettol soap continiously.If not can you please suggest the soap and the powder that i can use.

Can you suggest any antifungal dusting powder?

You can mix the two creams and apply.
You can use dettol soap without a problem. You can use any soap that you would prefer, there is no particular recommendation for that.

Antifungal dusting powder like fluconazole or clotrimazole can be used.
