Doctor I am asked to take yaz for 24 days after which I am asked to take 4 day break then resume yaz for 24 days, so I just wanted to know doctor for how long do I have to continue taking yaz and do I need to do blood work after this?
Hello.
For what have you been advised blood work ?
How was PCOS diagnosed for you?
Generally, Yaz is given for 3 - 6 months to regulate cycles.

Do I have to take ovacet or only yaz to regulate my cycles is enough? Doctor I was diagnosed with pcod thru usg scansand my hormone tests showed raised lh. ? Thank you
IF the hormonal tests are done, no further bloodwork is required.
Generally, following tests are done - please check if they are complete, or anything is pending -
FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone, Lipid Profile.
Yaz is enough to regulate cycles, ovacet further helps to correct the hormonal imbalances associated with PCOS.
Take care.
