Resolved question:
Hello Doctor,
I am 37 years old and a bachelor. I had sex with more than one girl and have found no such problems in my sexual life until recently I am developing some symptoms which after checking on the internet, I find that they related to AIDS. I am not exactly sure why I am losing weight, having frequent fever and sweating profusely during night. I have blisters on my tongue and Diarrhea which lasts for about a week. Please advise me on how can I know whether I have AIDS.

Thanks for your question. The symptoms you have described more or less point towards having acquired AIDS, even though a series of tests is necessary to confirm the same. I would advise you to immediately consult a sexologist who will advise on tests such as blood and urine antibody test. Other tests include oral mucosal transudate test for testing fluid from inside the mouth and rapid antibody test. If the reports are found to be positive, then you have AIDS. Once found positive, there are treatments to arrest the disease. You should go to a government authorized HIV testing center where everything is kept confidential.
