Hello and thankyou for your reply.
Ultrasound does not always give an exact accurate result. It will be off by a few days, and that is normal.
Based on what you have told me, that you had heavy discharge on 29th august, and it was not just spotting, and that you have a one day period once or twice a year. It is UNLIKELY that you got pregnant in August. Even if you did get pregnant, the lining of your uterus would have cleared and the implanted embryo thrown it out in the discharge. Hence you probably got pregnant in september around 12-14th september. Implantation takes place around 6-12 days after fertilization.
Like I said the USG does not give an exact date, and hence I cannot give you the exact date fertilization took place. But it most likely took place in september.
I hope this has helped.
Thankyou

this is my last question if conception took place in Aug what wouldbe the date on eestimate by all means could it have been implantation or it most definitely seems like a period it was nothing light or nothing spotting it was a very heavy discharge flow I just want a definite answer that you believe it was menstrual or implantation I was once told that is was conception on Aug 25,26,27,28 but that can't be because I have a regular period I expect during those exact day I really appreciate all your help and will close after this
Hello,
If pregnancy did happen in august it would be either on 17 or 18 August as you had exposure on those 2 days. In that case implantation would be around 25, 26, 27, 28.
Implantaion bleeding is usually light spotting Or slight vaginal discharge with a tinge of red or brownish color. It is not heavy flow or heavy discharge. However in your case it is difficult to say, as you had heavy discharge which is unlikely to be implantation bleeding.
You can do DNA testing which is 100% confirmatory for paternity testing.
I hope this has helped.
Thankyou

in your experience would an early8week ultrasound date my pregnancy two or three weeks ahead really counting from July 27/ 5 weeks off why would ultrasound mistake implantation for lmp so I could be a month further along what would my dates be in September
Hello,
In my experience the ultrasound would not show 2-3 weeks ahead. Hence it is possible that you have mistaken the heavy cloths or it is unlikely to be bleeding due to implantation. In that case pregnancy would have occured in August.
If you had your LMP on 27th July and you have a a 30 day cycle, your fertile period would be between 7th August to 17th August. You are likely to have got pregnant in this time period. Even if you had sex upto 5 days prior to the exact ovulation day , you are likely to get pregnant as the sperm has a long life.
The ultrasound cannot be used to determine the exact date of conception as it can be off by upto 5-7 days in early pregnancy.
Hence it is difficult to say the exact date of your conception.
Hence the only definite way to know paternity is DNA testing.
I understand your concern. I hope I have been able to put more clarity about the dates.
Thankyou
