Resolved question:
OK so for about six months now I have had progressing symptoms . It started out as a headache with naseau and anxiety and has now progressed to much worse. My headache is constant and very severe my vision is either blurred or doubled all the time I'm becoming more and more confused and tired and really can't remember much. I have frequent dizziness and naseau and have blacked out. My head is getting worse everyday and every time I turn it it feels like there is a river in my head. More often now than ever I'm sluggish my speech becomes slurred and I feel really weak. I have recently woke up with blood on mY pillow and a very bad headache my boyfriend says I have even passed out. I really don't know what to do

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com. I have noted your symptoms and it is unfortunate that a diagnosis has not been made even after six months.
Your symptoms require evaluation by a neurologist. In view of headache, nausea, blurred vision and possible seizures, we need to exclude an internal brain problem, such as tumor, clotting of blood in brain veins, infections, etc. This can be done by doing an MRI scan of brain, with contrast.
If MRI is normal, then, migraine can also explain some of these symptoms.
As of now, for symptom relief, you can take diclofenac or ibuprofen tablet for pain relief, and ondansetron for nausea/vomiting.
I hope it helps. Please get back if you have any follow-up queries.
Best wishes,

I have had a ct scan done with no contrast all they could see is mY sinuses were impacted and there was some fluid in my head. I have taken the meds for the sinus problem and it has gone away but when it did my symptoms got worse and there is still fluid there. I'm not sure what to do
Thank you for getting back and providing more details.
CT scan showed sinus infection and it was well treated.
However, symptoms have worsened and it would be better to undergo an MRI scan of brain to find out any other brain-related problem (which are better seen on MRI), and also, the sinus problem (whether it has improved or not) can be seen on the MRI.
I hope it helps.

Do u have any ideas on what it could possibly be I'm in medical school and I have done some research so I'm just curious if its something j need to be concerned about
Thank you for getting back.
The possibility would depend on clinical examination also. However, based on the information available, the possible differential diagnoses could include:
1. Migraine,
2. Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis,
3. Benign intracranial hypertension,
4. Brain tumor (less likely)
I hope it helps.
Best wishes,
I thought migraine at first as well but I've had nigtaines and this feels so much different I mean lately I've found it difficult to even function. And I keep getting this stabbing pain in NY head
Hi,
Thank you for getting back.
Since there is a change in character and severity of headaches, it may be better to proceed for detailed evaluation, including an MRI scan of the brain.
