Hard and tender lump in testicle. Is it a sign of cancer?

Hello doctor,

About a week ago, I found a punch in the groin which lasted for about 2-3 days. It was associated with pain also. After 2-3 days pain decreased as I examined myself. It was a small hard ball with some sort of tenderness, and on top of my testicle. But now, the mass is still there. I think it is something related to the starting of testicular cancer. Is it painless or painful? Please help.

Testicular cancer is associated with a painless mass or lump inside testicle. It can be a starting of testicular cancer in your case. This should be checked and investigated further for clarification, at the earliest. It can also be hernia or inflammation of that location. But a simple physical examination done by your physician will bring out a lot of information. So it is better to consult with your doctor first.
