Hello, I understand your concern but there s nothing to worry about. Fever that is moderate in your case is of a very short duration and it is intermittent in nature. Night sweats are common and it may be due to menopauses, anxiety, hyper thyroidism, Diabetes insipidus , alcohol abuse, GERD, Endometriosis, obstructive sleep apnea , medications apart from infection, inflammatory , connective tissue disorders , malignancy . When there is fever, there will other symptoms such as vomiting, headache, stiff neck, and myalgia. The causes of fever are malaria, dengue, typhoid, meningitis, and stomach bug. However it looks like a malaria infection. This can be best diagnosed by an antimalarial blood smear. It is also important to rule out other conditions. I would suggest you to get a set of investigations like complete blood test, widal test, Dengue IgG and Ig M. Based on the reports, appropriate treatment can be started. During this period, you should take plenty of fluids, continue tablet paracetamol thrice a day after food for 5 days and take adequate rest. I would suggest you to get these investigations and consult your doctor for further management. Hope this helps.
