Fever, back pain not relieved by ZPACK, CLARITIN.

Resolved question:
I've had a fever since Tuesday. I want to the dr yesterday and was given a zpack and Claritin. But me fever still hasn't gone away and I am still having bad lower back pain. And my belly feels like it's going to explode What should I do

3) Do you have any sore throat/ runny nose/ difficulty in urination/ any changes in stool consistency?

34 female
i have been taking Tylenol and Morton and Thera flu all week and they are not working
I had a sore throat Monday but haven't since. No difficulty urinating but it smells relly bad like ammonia
I wwas constipated earlier in the week but I have had two bowl movements a since the the llast one on Friday was very loose
ive never had a uti or kediney infection

Thank you for your follow-up.
If the urine smells bad it is possible that you have an UTI, and you should get it tested. The belly pain can be due to the same. You definitely need a strong antibiotic ( Broad spectrum - Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily ), for a week. Regarding bowel movements, let me know if the loose stool persists.
I will advise you a urine test, an urine culture, and a CBC.

Thank you. I got a urinalisys I did have a uti and kidney infection caused by strep throat. I am now on two antibiotics. Thanks so much for your help.
