Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
So your main symptoms as of now are fatigue, thirsty all the time, as well as head spinning.
Your blood reports are fine, and MCH is slightly low, but nothing significant.
How is the stool consistency now? Any dietarry modifications?
Any relevant past medical history?
What is your BP?
Please reply and I will get back to you.
Regards.
Patient replied :
MCH is high, not low. No dietary modifications as such. Stool consistency is almost normal(bit soft bit normal). No past medical history..
And I frequently go to toilet now unlike before.Had slightly elevated body temperature the last few days.
BP haven't checked. I am healthy, not obese. Do regular check up and all. Will check next day. Can you give me a response apart from the BP part? I will update with BP readings next day.
I apologise about the MCH low part, yes it is high, but just slightly high. It is no matter of concern..
Regarding fatigue and head spinning, your reports are fine, the commonest cause being anemia, and since that is ruled out, the second probable cause is fluctuations in the BP levels. That needs to be monitored.
One more significant history is increase in water intake and increase in urination. The sugar levels are normal, so I will suggest urine examination, as well as RFT.
Do you have any pain in the area of the ribs which got hurt while you fell down?
Regarding the head spinning, is it present throughout?
Also, was there any injury to the ear? any minor injury to the ears can lead to vertigo, which can cause similar symptoms.
Patient replied :
1. I will check BP level and RFT.
2. Pain on ribs were there and slight swelling. Now its all gone and no pain.
3. Head spin is not throughout, at times only
4. There was no injury to the ear as I didn't hit my head at all.
5. Is there any chance that I could be pregnant? and all this happening cause of that.
6. And when I go weak, my whole head goes numb.
Thanks for your timely reply
Pregnancy does not cause such symptoms.
Head spinning is definitely not a pregnancy related symptom, however, update me on whether you got your period.
You can also mention about your menstrual history, like whether you get regular cycles, and what is duration of each cycle.
If there was no ear injury, then vertigo can be ruled out. So, we have to wait for the BP and RFT results for further management.
Regards.

Hi Doctor, After the previous consult. I was feeling all better and good. But 5 days back, i ate pork which was a little stale. From then I started having foul smelling diarrhoea, stomach pain and headache. Stomach pain comes and goes inbetween inbetween. Now i am having aversion towards food and having nausea and headache. Diarrhoea almost stopped but the stomach pain comes and goes at times still. I took antibiotics for stomach infection but no use yet. I am having this sick feeling from then till now, not yet gone.I feel really tired always.
And for the previous consult. Yes, I did get my periods on time, both last one and the one before that.
