Resolved question:
Hi, I am a 31 year old man with no history of erectile dysfunction. About two and a half weeks ago, I bent back my erect penis during sex. There was no "pop" or "crack" sound, and there was no discoloring or swelling. I was able to finish, but noticed my erection went softer. I went to the ER to make sure it was not a penile fracture, and they agreed it was not. They performed a urine test and found no blood in my urine. I have not experienced any trouble urinating. I experience some minor discomfort occasionally, but it passes quickly and is never severe. I took time off from sex and masturbation to be safe, as I noticed my penis would not respond to any stimulation. After a few times waking up with an erection I figured I was at least on the right track. I tried to masturbate, and though I was able to get an erection and ejaculate, my erection was not as hard and required constant stimulation to stay erect. In addition, it seems like my flaccid penis feels more flaccid than normal. I am curious to know what you think MAY be wrong. I realize that without a physical exam you cannot diagnose me properly. If it is a situation where it just needs time to heal, when can I expect to get back to feeling normal? Is there anything I can do to help the healing process (heat, ice, meds, ect.)? I have been taking Ibuprofen regularly since the initial injury. I do plan to see a urologist but am seeking as many opinions as possible.

Dear sir,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
You must have had minor injury and that is leading to poor erection. However, the good thing is that you are not having any pain or soreness.
Any injury takes 4-6 weeks to heal and you should expect the things to return back to normal by 6 weeks or so. Nothing needs to be done in the meantime.
Take care
Sincerely
