Hello,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
Thank you very much for your feedback, we appreciate the fact that you find this platform useful. We are committed providing a quality patient care through this.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety. I assure you that rapid tests for HIV are pretty accurate (more than 99% accuracy). In most cases, these tests detect antibodies against HIV virus within 3 to 4 weeks of infections. As you have taken tests after 100 days you don't need any further tests. You are negative for HIV virus. Hope that was helpful. Feel free to discuss further.
Thank you
Patient replied :
Dear doctor. Thanks for the prompt reply I appreciate it
Just one think I forgot to mention in my previous query,
Yesterday one of the tests among the four I did gave me a very very faint white line on T it's not even red or maybe I was imagining not real I don't know!! But I repeated immediately with the same manufacture rapid test I tested twise and did not see that faint line
With my best Regards
Thanks again
As the other tests are negative there is nothing to worry. For you own assurance, I advise you to take standard HIV test done by a health care provider. A single test is enough.
Patient replied :

Thanks you very much
Hello,
I am sorry for the confusion. I told you to take the test for your own assurance otherwise it is not necessary.
Thanks
