Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your grandmother's symptoms. The most common cause of dizziness or giddiness is peripheral vertigo, due to ear dysfunction. Betahistine tablet can be given for symptoms relief.
If symptoms persist after taking this medication also, a brain scan may be done to exclude posterior circulation stroke (due to lack of blood flow to brain).
I hope it helps.
Best wishes,

Sir, thank you very much for the help. I have started giving her betahistine tablets at the rate of 2 tabs/day, one in the morning and the other in the evening. If it's not any serious issue, then aproximately after how many doses, the symptons would start disappearing ? Also she is feeling mild fatigue; so I give her 2 to 3 spoons of glucondy at once in a day, is it fine? Thank you.
Thank you for getting back.
If she has no serious problem, improvement should be noted in 4-5 days.
Glucon D is fine.
Best wishes
Thank You Sir. I am observing her for 2-3 days. Her health condition is not restored completely to the normal state yet. But there is an improvement ie. severity has been reduced. So should I consider waiting further?...Thank you.
Yes, kindly wait for a few more days.
She will be fine.
