Resolved question:
I am looking for an orthopedic doctor/radiologist that can read my MRI results and tell me the results. I strained my knee snowboarding 10 days ago. I felt a pop but had no pain and no swelling at all. I have been limping around for the last week and a half and I feel like it is getting better each day, but I am not sure if I tore anything. My general physician believes I tore my meniscus, so he had me take an MRI. I have the results back, but do not want to wait several days to find out what they mean. A second opinion will be best going into this.
Symptoms:
- no pain
- no swelling
- little discomfort when I straighten completely
- can bend to my thighs easily
I can walk around with a slight limp, mainly the knee just feels weak especially when I try and walk on it with my leg straight.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
I request you to upload the images in a word or pdf format.
The files you have sent can't be opened by the doctor.
Once you do, he will get back to you.
Regards,
InHouse Physician.
I uploaded them to the word document like you requested. The pics may not me in the same order as a MRI reading program but I tried to keep them together. Please let me know if there is anything else you need.
Thanks for the reference.
I have gone through the images you have sent me , but I am afraid to give a complete confident diagnosis they are far from complete.
To evaluate the knee for meniscal injury as clinically suspected by yr physician , we need the entire stack & series of the MRI images of the knees in 3 planes coronal, sagital & axial in minimum three sequences T1 , T2, Flair with specialized fat suppression images of the meniscus areas ... This would mean on an average about minimum 300 images in total.
I suggest either you send me this stack of images along with the typed report ,detailing the technique & the imaging protocol along with provisional diagnosis provided , ONLY then I think I will be able to do justice to reporting this study ...
Present set of images show a few suspicious areas in both menisci .
If possible you can share your dropbox account user name password, or suggest ways of viewing the main files. What you shared initially can't be opened through any program.
Thanks
