Hello,
If there is only a bump under your armpit with no palpable mass on the breast and if the mammography did not detect a lesion it is very unlikely to be breast cancer. From the symptoms you have mentioned, I can conclude that you have a respiratory ailment. As you haven't mentioned your age, I am afraid it's difficult to come to a specific diagnosis. Similar symptom in a young woman occurs due to respiratory infection or pneumonia. IT can cause chest pain, fatigue, headaches and heaviness of extremity. In a middle aged and older woman the most important although rare concern would be lung cancer.
The bump under the arm pit might also be a fat necrosis which is a benign finding in many women. They usually occur due to any trauma to the under arm which you might not have realized.
I would recommend you to do the following
1)Consult a physician, who would probably ask you to take a chest x ray. Chest X Rays are very useful in detecting any pathology to the lungs and hence we would be able to rule out both lung infection and lung cancer.
2)I would also recommend you to get a hemoglobin level checked as anemia would also cause similar symptoms like chest pain, fatigue and swelling.
3)Eat a good balanced diet with good portion of proteins carbohydrates and vitamins. Consume diet rich in green leafy vegetables and milk.
4) Stay away from stimulants that increase respiratory infection like dust and pollen.
5)Take a Tab, ferrous sulphate 150 mg and Tab Tylenol 500 mg for temporary relief in pain.
Thank you.
