Resolved question:
I have had hard cramp and on going diarea since Christmas morning with no relief in place. I thought it may be the flu but I kind of ruled that out. Can you help me, I am thinking alone the lines of something I eat. Please help me?

The symptoms are suggestive of Gastroenteritis ( viral or bacterial ) aka stomach bug. And yes it is highly likely that you got this infection from the food. The non resolution of the symptoms, the cramps etc are suggestive more of a bacterial infection (although not very definite.
I recommend the following :
1. Drink plenty of water. (and other oral fluids)
2. OTC medications like Pepto Bismol can be taken , but infection has to be contained by the immune system of your body itself.
3. Avoid spicy and irritant foods.
4. Look for danger signs like sever diarrhoea, loose stools with blood and/or mucous , sever lethargy, weakness, breathlessness, decreased urine output. If you have any of the above symptoms get medical help asap.
5. If the symptoms show no signs of resolution in the coming 2 days you might require a course of antibiotic and further evaluation. Please get in touch with your Doctor.
