ENT Related: less than br greater than Hello Doctor, less than br greater than I had cold and cough for last 3 days and it is fine now but, my both ears are closed and unable to hear properly since last day. some beep sound is heard and not able to hear anything properly. less than br greater than KIndly advise some medicine / drops for this. Somebody advised me to use H2O2 (hydroger Peroxide), not sure if this works. less than br greater than less than br greater than KIndly note that I had some problem with my right ear, had some surgery to that ear 5 years old patientback due to some ear discharge and pain and so there is some hearing loss with that ear. less than br greater than less than br greater than Now I am using left ear most of the time but now that ear to is blocked due to cold weather. You are suffering from cold for 3 days and now ear block on both side. This is most likely due to
eustachean tube (tube connection ear and nose) obstruction or dysfuncion. Ear drop will not help in
this situation, you can start Tab. Allegra ( Fexofenadine) 120 mg once daily for 2-3 weeks.
To get long term relief you need examination by local ENT specialist who can examine your ear, nose and
can do necessary investigation including endoscopic examination of nose and ear, Hearing test(
audiogram) and x ray of sinsues as required.
