I understand your concern.
I have reviewed the picture and your throat looks quite inflamed with a lot of mucus suggestive of an upper respiratory tract infection.
Most of these infections start as a viral, but goes on to develop into a superadded bacterial infection.
You will need to start an antibiotic like Cap. Augmentin 625 mg twice daily ( Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid ) for 5-7 days. Saline water gargling/ betadine gargling will help in bringing the secretions out too. Additionally, you also need an antihistaminic like Tab. Levocetirizine 5 mg once daily at bedtime till the runny nose reduces.
