It's quite obvious I have alopecia. What I'm curious about is the other symptoms I mentioned. I want to know what the other symptoms are caused by I'm sure that if I get them taken care of my alopecia will go away.
Hello
Thanks for the query at DoctorSpring.com
You seem to be having a condition called alopecia aereata. This is a condition where there is balding over a hairy area in patches. There is no apparent cause to it.
The treatment for alopecia aereata depends on how rapidly the bald patches are progressing. In case of rapidly progressive patches, oral corticosteroids are given to halt the progression. Administration of injections of corticosteroids like triamcinolone acetonide into the bald patch causes hair regrowth.
I would recommend that you visit your dermatologist for the treatment.
Please let me know if you have any queries.
Take care,
Regards.
Hello
Thanks for your reply.
Alopecia aerata, the condition that you have is usually not related to the other symptoms that you have mentioned.
I would recommend consulting a ear nose throat doctor for the other symptoms.
Thanks,
