Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com. I can understand your concern.
She has developed a mix of bacterial and candidial skin infection.
I would recommend that you apply fucidin h cream and clotrimazole cream on the affected area twice a day for 3 days.
This will resolve the infection. Also it is very important to maintain good hygiene in the area. Do not rub the area. Just pat it dry.
Do not use any talc powder till infection heals.
There are a few erosions on the skin, I would not recommend any wet wipes to be used. Please clean the area with wet cotton.
In case it doesn't start showing signs of improvement in three days then visit your doctor. If it showed signs of improvement then you can continue the creams for a total of five days.
Please let me know if you have any queries.

She had lactose intorlence at age 4 months. Now she had vomited and after that loose motion started. We had given Septran, Ondem, enterigrnia. but loose motion not stopped for 3 days, then change antibiotic to Nor-metrogyl and sporlac sachet. After two doses, we stopped this medicine bcz of skin reaction on back. But meanwhile her urine area skin affected badly, this was happend when she has lactose intorelnce. but this time this impacted on more at urine area compare anex area.

Thanks for your reply. We have applied Candid dusting powder last night, infected area is dry and showing sign of improvement now, as she is playing and able to sit as usual.
Do you think that instead of dusting powder we should use cream? Or this dusting powder is effective for candidal skin infection and useful for bacterial infection.
This is happen second time when she had loose motion. Will this infection happen in future when she will loose motion? How can we avoid this in future ? Please try to understand my situation as she is suffering from very pain.
Hello,
Thanks for your reply. I can understand your concern.
It's best to use cream and not the powder. I would recommend both the creams I had written earlier.
In the future, make sure that the stools don't stay in contact with the skin for too long. That's the only way to prevent it. You can also apply vaseline jelly to the skin after cleaning the stools every time. This will form a protective barrier and will make sure that the next time the stools passed will have less effect on skin.
Please let me know if you have any queries.
