Can I resume using Viagra after eye surgery?

Resolved question:

Hello doctor,

Is it safe to use Viagra a few weeks after having a surgery? I got a cataract surgery about 1 week ago.

Thanks for your question. Viagra is known to have many side effects when used in conjunction with a surgical procedure. Its potential side effects include blurred vision, sensitivity to light, cyanopsia where you see blue everywhere and loss of peripheral vision. It is better to stop using Viagra for now, till you get recovered from your surgery. You can consult your doctor also, for a clear calculation of time from which you can restart using it.
