Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
HIV infection can occur only through unprotected sexual intercourse. It can't be transmitted through simple acts of kissing, through oral sex, or by sharing inanimate objects like towel. Also, you had a condom on, so you took all your precautions.
Regarding other STDS, again, with a condom on it effectively prevents most STDs apart from herpes. If the lady has genital herpes with open lesions, other areas coming in contact with the lesion can spread herpes.
You do not need any prophylactic treatment.
Please feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

Thank you for addressing my primary concerns. Could you please elaborate on the details of other STDs including herpes? I also asked these questions
How long should I actually wait before being tested for gonorrhea/chlamydia/HSV? Can I transmit STD/STI's without engaging in sexual activities, like kissing or genital touching, like if someone touches mine? I've read that gonorrhea/chla is very contagious, even through touch and no visible symptoms?
Also, according to the CDC, HIV can be transmitted through oral sex—http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/behavior/oralsex.html
Hello,
There are lots of controversial studies about HIV being transmitted through oral sex.
The only way it can be spread is if the guy ejaculates inside the mouth and the partner has an open lesion.
So you need not worry.
You can get yourself tested for all the bacterial STIs. But there is very less chance since you had a condom on.
You can't transmit any STI without kissing or genital touching.
Herpes 1 can be transmitted through kissing. Gonococcal and Chlamydial infection will present with symptoms similar to UTI, with a discharge from the urethra.
