Hi I was wondering do I have some type of disease or is it just an yeast infection because when I pee it will burn for a week then come back when it's time for my period to come on then I will have irritation on the side of My vagina and sometimes during sex it will burn I will have this discharge its like an everyday basis

The presence of burning micturation during menstruation, pain during sex and discharge per vagina point towards two possible diagnoses in your case: 1.Bacterial infection 2.Yeast infection I suggest you visit a gynaecologist as a definitive diagnosis can be made only by doing a swab examination. If it's a yeast infection, anti fungal medications such as Lotrimin, Monistat are available as ointments, tablets or suppositories. If it's a bacterial infection, Metronidazole tablet is taken twice daily for seven days. I suggest you to follow the following , will bring you relief of your symptoms and prevent recurrence: Its always important to maintain good hygiene, this is the basic step to stay away from infections. I suggest you to rinse your vagina everytime you take bath with cool water. Its best to nt use any scented products like scented soap in your vaginal area.
