Anti HCV is the antibody to chronic hepatitis C that appears after infection and disappears after recovery. Anti HCV negative denotes you are not suffering from hepatitis C infection. Anti HIV also denotes that you are free from the HIV infection. HbsAg appears in blood late in the incubation period and usually lasts for 3- 4 weeks or up to 3 months. Persistence of HbsAg beyond 6 months may suggest a chronic hepatitis infection. In such cases, Anti HBC remains positive but anti HBS is mostly negative.
Yes, it can be transmitted to others too. I would suggest a few remedies such as:
a) Take adequate rest till the sign and symptoms disappear and LFT reports return to normal.
b) Consume a nutritious diet ( 2000-3000Kcal)
c) Avoid alcohol for the next 6 months.
d) Analgesics can be used for pain relief.
Only in the chronic state, would we recommend you to use antiviral drugs and interferon. Hope this helps.
