Ever since dieting became a common household term, everyone has started counting their calorie intake. Now even most packed foods and restaurant menus contain information about the number calories present in their food. This has led to a new myth called Zero calorie foods. Scientifically there is nothing called zero calorie food. Generally low calorie Fruits and vegetables are called zero calorie or negative calorie food. The most commonly mentioned Zero calorie foods are Celery, grapefruit, lemon, lime, apple, lettuce, celery, broccoli and cabbage. But there is a zero calorie beverage that is found very commonly, Water. Plain water contains zero calories and helps boost our metabolism. So the next time someone tries to sell you a diet stating that it follows the secrets of eating zero calorie food or negative calorie food understand it is just a myth and that the person is trying to sell you something that is not true.
