Resolved question:
Hello, I have a question. I'm a 21 year old girl. About 1 year ago when I pinched my nipples white fluid came out from both. I don't know why. I'm not pregnant and i never have been. Now 1 year later white fluid still comes when i pinch my nipples (i pinch them everyday) , but not as much fluid comes out anymore. More fluid comes out from one of my nipples than the other one, the other one there comes almost no fluid anymore. I have been eating setraline now for over 1 year , it was maybe 1-2 months after i started with setraline that fluid started coming. Is white fluid coming because of setraline or anything else? Should i seek help? I would be very thankful for answer, because i'm a little worried.
Thank you.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
Please do not worry.
The secretion of whitish fluid from the nipples is called galactorrhoea.
it is a very common side effect of sertraline, and is commonly seen when women are taking Sertraline.
It is a common phenomenon.
Once you stop the drug, this would go away.
So please do not worry about that.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
Thank you so much for the answer. I have one more question. It happens that i sometimes forget taking setraline , sometimes it can go a few days without me remember to take it. But even still the reason i get white fluid from the nipples is because of the setraline?
thank you. :)
Yes, I am very sure it is because of Sertraline, even if you occasionally forget to take it.
