Hello
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
There is no such diagnosis called 'Reoccur Depress Psycho' in the official nomenclature. Probably what your psychiatrist wanted to mention is that 'Recurrent Depressive Disorder, Current episode depression with psychosis'. It means that depression has progressed to such an extent that some psychotic symptoms have started appearing. It doesnt mean that its a full blown psychosis. Further the medicines that you are on are good for the said diagnosis and they will benefit you for sure.
Hope this helps,
In case if you have any further query, do let me know.

Thank you Dr. Reddy. I took a closer look at my file and it said "236.32" "Reoccur Depr Psychos". Is this how this category is commonly abbreviated? I asked a friend with a nurse and she thought so. This is the worst depression I've been in and I'm working so hard to do what I can to pull myself out. In addition to the medications, should I be taking any supplements? Is there any medication thats particularly effective for anehedonia? Thanks!

Hello
Its probably 296.32 which is the DSM code for recurrant Depressive Disorder Moderate. Medicines take time in improving the symptoms. Suppliments like folic acid and B12 help in these cases. Anhedonia is due to the depression per se and will improve with the improvement in depression.
