I noticed in my belly-button a white thing that seemed to be underneath the skin. I poked it with a needle and took it out with tweezers. It was of hard consistency and didn't smell or hurt, it didn't bleed either. I formed a crust that fell off but now I have hole. If I elevate the belly-button (see pic) the hole becomes deep and if I move it while elevated its like it's a hole to some underneath space that looks like skin?? The red stuff in the pic is just iodine. It doesn't hurt but if freaks me out and doesn't look nice. What is this and what can I do?

Tyre hole should heal up slowly. You can apply mupirocin cream on it twice a day for a week. If you see blood or pus coming out of it you need to visit your doctor immediately. Thank you for your answer. This was about a week ago and there was already a crust. It held for about a week but when it fell off the hole was still there. Should I still wait again for a new crust? Or should it get stitches or something?

Try to keep the area dry and clean and keep using the Mupirocin ointment. It will automatically heal in a few days. There's no need of stitches in this case. Just wait for a few days and you will definitely see improvement. Let us know if you have any further queries. You can use the ointment for a couple of days.
