Resolved question:
I'm 24 years old. So, about 18 days ago I got violently ill with some kind of Virus or Bacteria, I don't know what it was. It was some of the worst pain of my life. I woke violently at 6AM with severe stomach pains, and then was violently vomiting and diarrhea-ing for the next 2 days. Then over the following 3 days I got better. I was feeling more or less better, and then suddenly 4 days ago it came back (about 2 weeks after I recovered), although this time it was far less severe. I vomited once, and had bad symptoms for a while. Now it's the 3rd or 4th day, and I still don't feel up to speed. Is this normal? Can you catch two stomach bugs in one winter? My stomach feels bloated, like it wont digest whatever is in there and I feel constantly nauseous and like I have to use the bathroom.
Keep in mind now, I have been suffering from Chronic Anxiety (and maybe some depression) for about 3-5 years. I am finally going to go to the doctor and figure out once and for all what is going on with me. I can't explain it but my immune system feels weakened, I almost feel like I could just die if I got something bad enough. I know that's most likely in my head, but I feel very weak. Is it possible that my immune system could have been so weakened by stress?
I'm seeing a GP tommorow to start inquiring about how to fix my problems, but I just don't know where to turn anymore. Is it possible this illness that has recurred? Is it two separate viruses with similar symptoms? Is it just a weakened immune system? Is it something more serious? I have talked to doctors on here about anxiety, and I will heed that advice, but right now I'm worried about my apparent weakened immune system. It is really stressing me out. I feel like I shouldn't have this problem at my age. Can I return it to normal ever -- am I slowly dying an early death lol?

I understand your concerns and anxiety.
From your history, it does not seem like you had complete recovery from the first bout of gastroenteritis.
Can you please mention what medicines you took for diarrhea and vomiting? I need to know if you took any antibiotics.
You have no symptoms suggestive of weak immune system. It could be due to a weak GIT.
