Tingling sensation, lump in hand, waking up with sweating.

Resolved question:
Hi,

Toady early morning I got a sudden dream and then started sweating. Then, somehow I felt a lump in my left hand.

I have a had a tingling sensation in left hand for some days now but thought it was due to over using key board or placing of hand or wrong holding of mobile.

When the sweat and racing ceased a bit, I was feeling malaise. I wanted to drink water and when tried to get up, felt some giddiness.

After sometime I managed to get up and drink water and then it started feeling good. I was not able to sleep properly through the night.

Can you please suggest if it is a worrying condition?

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
The tingling sensation could be either due to a vitamin deficiency or due to overuse working on the keyboard. I need to see the swelling once before I can comment further. Kindly attach a picture here or send it directly to info@doctorspring.com

I do not have any swelling on hand.
Does stress cause any swelling on lungs?

Hello,
No stress, does not cause any swelling on the lungs. It however can cause palpitations, shortness of breath, and chest pain mimicking other chest conditions.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

Thats good to know - Thanks!
How can you know that you are having palpitations? I am trying to understand to understand if I face that or not :)
Also, sometimes I have this weird feeling of increased heartbeat when I stand up after sitting for sometime - is that palpitation?

Hello,
When we are scared, or anxious, our heart starts beating really fast, up to a point, where if all other sound sources are stopped, we can hear the rapid heart beat. This is palpitations.
Yes, what you feel after standing up, is postural hypotension, a very common phenomenon, and to rapidly fix the problem, the heart starts beating fast, and the BP comes back to normal.
Regards.
