Resolved question:
I am a 26 year old male. Around four days ago, I was doing a little exercising and everything seemed fine. Later that evening, I noticed a discomfort in my right testicle. I found that it was very tight and high close to my body, even going into the pubic area. I would have to physically manipulate it back down into place. Ever since, there has been a very "tight" feeling in only the right testicle and it is remaining very high and close to my body (regardless of temperature). This morning there was a slight soreness behind the testicle where it connects with the cord (possibly due to my physical moving of it downward). While it is scary when it goes into my body, I have read at times this is normal, but it doesn't sound normal to be constantly near my body. I am considering going to a urologist however I thought I'd post here in the meantime.

Hello and thankyou for approaching DoctorSpring with your query.
I have gone through your case and understand your concern.
From your symptoms, we need to rule out testicular torsion. It usually presents with acute symptoms of pain on one side of scrotum and there may be associated nausea and vomiting. Often occurs several hours after vigorous activity. Some may have a milder presentation. The classic finding is one sided high riding testis, i.e is the testis on the affected side is usually higher.
I would advise you not to waste time and visit a Urologist immediately to avoid complications as this is a Urological Emergency.
Even if it is taking time to get an appointment with the urologist I would advise you to go the the ER and get a Color Doppler ultrasound done of bilateral scrotum to rule out this condition.
Please do not neglect, visit the ER and get a color doppler ultrasound done immediately.
I hope this has helped.
I will leave this consult open so that you can get back to me anytime.
Thankyou
Thank you for your quick response. I just want to get your opinion on my results (as I'm in Madrid Spain without perfect spanish).
After a physical examination and a sonogram of the right testicle, the urologist told me that everything was normal. He explained what has happened is I have some cyst which has "moved" and I have to wait for it to move back. Does that sound like something which would cause the testicle to be constantly pulled close to the body and at times into the pubic bone? I still have no actual pain or any other symptoms. The cord is just really active and hasn't really gotten better or worse.
Hello,
I am glad to hear that you did not have a torsion of testes.
I am not really convinced with doctor's explanation. A cyst cannot lead to upward movement of testis. Was the cyst visible of the ultrasound ? Please send me your ultrasound report and other reports if you have it with you.
Regards
Thanks for your response. It was a bit worse yesterday than today, however I still feel it being pulled upwards. Naturally with cold temperatures it is more extreme, as back to the point of in the pubic area.
I have uploaded what they gave me at the hospital here. I included my translation in red. I really appreciate your help, I know it is difficult in this manner. Hope everything works correctly.
Hello,
The results are normal. There is small epididymal cyst. But this will not result in pulling up of the testes. As there are no danger signs you need not worry. This could be due to an overactive cremasteric muscle.
Thank you
