Resolved question:
I have suffered with GAD for 2 1/2 years now, started off worrying about getting pregnant. then in febuary of this year worried about my health pinpointing every sensation and feeling.
I am worried about MS, as i have googled it and it has scared me to no end.
about 10 weeks ago i read an article about a woman who expierneced tingling in her finger, and found when she did yoga it completely disapreed, and i read that saying do not worry about that as i have never experienced that. Then the next day i started noticing pulse sensations in my finger tips, changing fingers and sides. This got me worrying and searching the internet and asking online. When i was busy and active i would not notice it, but when i did it would just constantly be there.
then about 4/5 weeks ago i started notcing the feeling of something stuck in my throat, feein gof a tiny little ball. Started worrying again as it said could be GERD or allergies (which i have always had since a kid). I would try coughing it out, and trying to force myself to keep swalloing, then i started to worry if i was having difficulties swalloing, as i would keep trying to swallow my salivia. My throat seemed to started to get sore and irritated. I had no problems eating or drinking. it was a tense feeling sometimes id feel when i drink it get stuck then i'd relax and it be ok. It would be on and off for days, and one night i went out and drank a bit much and noticed it went away completely, and its been about 4-5 days with gone, but during the time it was on and off. as i read on ms websites it says symptoms can come and go, and it started to freak me out.
also i read about balance. I mean sometimes i lose my balance, but i mean i am able to do yoga completely fine.
i am having servere anxiety attacks right now worrying about this, and i am trying to calm down. Please help me, does this seem more anxiety or should i be worried???

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
First of all, I would like to reassure you that your symptoms are more like an anxiety disorder. I do not think you have any symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS).
I agree that these symptoms can occur in MS, however, similar symptoms can occur in anxiety as well as other neurological conditions. So, there are no specific symptoms only for MS.
A symptom in MS has to at least last for more than 24 hours, and does not go away without treatment with steroids (usually). Also, the next symptom comes after a gap of at least one month to qualify as next episode.
At present there is no need to worry. Please continue yoga, relax, and take anti anxiety medications such as clonazepam for improvement in your symptoms.
I hope it helps. Please get back if you have any more queries.
Best wishes,
