Resolved question:
My mom sprained her feet and dr we saw says we need to consult a orthopedics to see if she needs a surgery.
But she does not have insurance.
Would you mind help with looking at her x-ray and provide some advice?
She's going to travel from SF to Chicago tomorrow. Could she still fly without any treatment so far?

I have gone through details of your question & x rays.It looks that your mother is having a john's fracture at base of 5th metatarsal bone.This fracture is mildly notorious for non healing due to attachment of tendon .It will be better for her to have it operated.It can be fixd easily by an orthopedic surgeon by screw or tension bend wire.
