Resolved question:
Hello, I have one bump on the inside/inner side of my vagina. I see that there's a hair on it. It is soft. It looks red and white. I shaved on the 16th of this month and noticed a bump on the next day. I haven't had any fevers or burning urination, but it does itch. I've had the same thing happen to me several months back and they told me not to worry. However, this has happened to me about three times on the same spot and I'm afraid it might be herpes. Does this sound like a one blister herpes case?

The red bump
Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
I can understand your concern.
Usually herpes presents with a cluster of fluid filled blisters. One blister herpes is unusual. I would recommend it to be treated as a bacterial infection of the skin.
You could apply Mupirocin cream on it twice a day for a week and see if it resolves. In order to prevent new ones from arising i would first recommend getting your blood sugar tested. Also next time you get a lesion you need to visit your doctor who can send the pus if present for testing.
Take care
Regards.
Do you think it's herpes? There's no pus it's like swollen
Hello
I don't think it's herpes but a furuncle which is a bacterial infection. If it doesn't subside with the cream i would recommend taking an oral antibiotic like azithromycin that would help resolve it.
Take care
Hello, I just have one more concern. Today I tried squeezing the lesion and yellowish pus came out them clear fluid. It still is one bump. Do you still think it's a bacterial infection?
Hello,
Please don't squeeze the lesion. You are making it worse by squeezing it. If the pus has come out it is definitely a bacterial infection, Please start treatment recommended.
