Hi, I notice that often lately my penis appears covered in small red blotches. Sex and masturbation seem to make it worse but sometimes even when I'm abstaining from both it seems to flair up on it's own! I don't think it's an STD but was wondering if it might be balanitis, I'm struggling to work out what aggravates it, maybe diet?
It tends to clear up after a day or two and sometimes I use coconut oil and this helps. Is this normal??
I've always had a very tight foreskin, over the last 2 years old patientI've stretched it slowly so I can retract it comfortably over the head of my penis when flacid but it still feels tight erect. I wondered if this may have made my skin more sensitive than most??
I also wanted to ask in the images (2360) you can actually see my thumbnail in you can see a small white bump I've highlighted near the base of my shaft near the thumb nail (this actually appears on the inside of my foreskin when flacid), it's been there a long while and I just wanted to check that's nothing to worry about either? I do have some pearly penile papules you can see on the shaft but I've already been told these are quite normal.
Basically I'm seeing a new girl and after one session of sex I feel embarrassed about how this looks and would love to be able to do something about it. Many thanks for your help in advance.

Many thanks for your response, can I just check.. I know the forduce spots are OK but I was referring to the 3-4mm yellowish lump just up from my thumb there, is that OK

What is this likely to be? Is it balanitis? I have had thrush before but this went. I'm wondering how to treat this?

Yes, if it is getting red again it could be balanitis.
However, the reason could be either fungal or bacterial. The fact that you have tight foreskin, also increases the chances of getting infections.
I will advise you a course of Tab. Fluconazole ( Diflucan ) 100 mg once for 2 weeks. This will reduce any fungal infection. Also, you can apply Clotrimazole ointment 2-3 times daily. Let me know if it responds.
