Resolved question:
I underwent a knee surgery about 4 weeks ago and I was quite well till my last PT session. Then he made me work much harder than the previous session. After 2-3 hours from starting Pt, it started developing a sharp pain in my knees which made it hard for me to walk. I called my instructor and she put some ice on my knees. All these happened before a week. It still hurts me on Monday. So I made an appointment with my doctor and did a surgery. He told me that it might be some inflamed scar tissue that causes pain and gave a cortisone injection on knee. Also given was some pain killer pills. After 2 days, still it is sore and is very hard for me to walk. Now, what should I do for getting a relief from this pain? Is this pain normal? I am losing so much work due to this work. Please help me.

Thanks for your question and sorry to hear about your pain. But why did you have that knee surgery? Moreover, it is not normal to have so severe pain after surgeries. Symptoms as you say suggest that something is wrong somewhere. It is better to go back to your doctor for further checkups. It is something unfortunate that cortisone injection and pain killer have not worked for you. I think you might have developed some complication in your surgery or got some new injury while surgery. Get medical support as soon as possible, if possible from the old doctor itself. Get well soon.
