Resolved question:
I have been recently diagnosed with Underactive bladder syndrome and have been working with my pelvic physio to help relax my pelvic muscles. I have been taking regular antibiotics for a diagnosed UTI and I'm on a second dose currently because pelvic pain has been persistant. Just now within 30 minutes I have urinated small amounts three times and still feel as if I have retaining urine in my bladder. What should I do? Am I okay - is this a normal result of the work on my pelvic muscles and a previous UTI, or is this more serious? I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder so I need reasurance.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
Your complaints are related to your underactive bladder and previous infection has made bladder even more weak. Hence there is pelvic pain. However you have done the right thing in consulting a pelvic physio.
You need not worry and continue your exercises and you shall gradually improve. These issues take time, but the recovery is definite.
Take care
Sincerely
