Red spots on penis without symptoms. TROPICAL DISEASE?

Resolved question:
Hello,

I am hoping to find out what these red spots on my penis are. I am freaking out, a red spot appeared about a week and a half ago and about 2 days ago more appeared. I do not have any other symptoms besides the spots. Can someone tell me what this could be? I travel a lot to Africa, So I am worried this is some type of tropical disease. oh and i am not circumcision (don't know if that is important or not).

Hello

Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I can understand your concern.

It seems to be yeast infection. It happens in conditions of heat and humidity.
It could also be transmitted through your sexual partner.

I would recommend application of clotrimazole cream twice a day for two weeks. In case it doesn't start improving within a week you will need to visit your dermatologist.

Please let me know if you have any queries.
Regards.

Thank you for your attention DR Kruti. I haven't had sexual contact for a while but I do masturbate almost every day. I suppose it was transmitted by hand contact, is that possible? I am using some type of anti-bacterial liquid and it seems to have faded a bit. Since I will be travailing home next week, should I use a condom when I have sex with my wife until the spots disappear?
Thanks

Hello

Thanks for your reply.

Yeast infection can occur on its own also in conditions of heat and humidity. I would recommend you to wear a condom till the spots disappear. Its not possible to be transmitted by hand contact. I would recommend application of clotrimazole cream.

Hello again DR. Kruti,
At the moment I am not able to acquire clotrimazole cream, I do have with me Fenistil Gel. Can I use this in the meantime?
Thank you for your attention

Hello,
Clotrimazole is for fungal infection, while Fenistil is for allergies and viral infections.
It is not going to be helpful.
You need to get Clotrimazole.
Regards.

Hello again DR. Kruti,
Where I am currently located, the only thing I was able to get closest to Clotrimazole was Terra-Cortril (Said the pharmacy clerk) will this suffice? Since I am here I hope you can help me with this recent problem. Yesterday at lunch time I had practically no apatite to eat and had diarrhea at night, this morning I could barely finish my breakfast with no appetite to eat, today at lunchtime I didn’t even eat, and now at night I have barely any appetite also but I don’t feel sick or feel like throwing up, just no appetite to eat. Could this be at all related to the yeast infection or am I just over thinking and just a problem from something I ate?
Thanks again

Hello

Thanks for your reply.

Terra cortril will not help. Miconazole or clotrimazole would be required. I would recommend not applying terra cortril since it contains a steroid cream. The symptoms you mention are not related to the yeast infection. I would recommend you see your physician for the concerns of diarrhea and loss of appetite.

Take care
